How long are the classes?
Classes run once a week for 2 hours for the Junior and Senior program and 1 hour for the Toddler program. Classes are very active and fun. The kids start classes with Math Genie Yoga, a special Yoga exercise that energizes the Whole Brain and increases focus. The kids then do their individualized curriculum with help fro the teacher. The last half hour is spent playing Brain Games, games that are specially designed to enhance the Memory, Focus, Visual Ability, Listening skills of every child. Kids get a chance to win prizes during these games. Through fun games, kids get motivated and increase their abilities.
When can my child start?
The easy answer to this is “the younger, the better”. The younger the child, the faster they pick up this program. Children should be at least 3 ½. We limit the older kids to 11. We may work with kids older than 11 on a case by case basis.
Will this program benefit my child?
Every child is unique and has unique strengths. Traditional Math programs tend to use the child’s left brain. Because of this, not all kids are “good at math”. Math Genie engages both sides of the brain, creating new and stronger connections. If your child attends all classes and does the required 10 minutes home work every day, he/she will astonish you with their increase in Math Skills. In 4-9 months, you will notice improvements in other areas. Children will not only do great in math, but he/she will also become better in Sports, Karate, Music, etc. They will also improve their focus and concentration.
My child is already doing excellent in school. Why do I need Math Genie?
Math Genie will liberate the Genius your child was born to be. If your child is excellent in School, they will become Exceptional after joining Math Genie. What if my kids need more attention?
We have tests to evaluate performance every month so we will know if your child is falling behind. Your child’s teacher will make sure that he/she gets extra attention and extra classes. This will ensure that your child will finish the program to our exacting standards and benefit from it.
Will this conflict with regular math in school?
Your child will begin to ace all math tests. In many cases, children will have an answer before the teacher finishes writing the Math problem on the Board. Your child’s grades will improve in other subjects as well. You will undoubtedly be pleased during your child’s Parents Teacher conference when the teacher will tell you how great your child is. Your child will pay more attention in other subjects because his/her brain capacity will become better. Your child will blow away the competition in Math. All Math Genie kids are best in their class in Math.

Is your program expensive?
We have various programs to suit every budget.
Our program costs approximately the same amount as a Latte a day. This is a small price to pay for the lifetime brain development of your child. Your child will become a Math Wiz. The National Math Advisory council says: “Students who complete Algebra II are more than twice as likely to graduate from college compared to students with less mathematical preparation.” Do not rely on the School systems to adequately prepare your children for the future.
My child is learning disabled. Will this program work for him/her?
We have proven that any child can benefit from our program. Over the years, we have worked with many so-called “learning disabled” kids. We found a vast majority of them to be mislabeled. Most Learning disabled kids are strategy-disabled, meaning that they process information differently than most people. All Math Genie certified teachers are trained to recognize the unique way your child processes information. We then tailor our program just for your child. The results will astonish you.
