Parent Sees More Growth in 6 Months at Math Genie than 1 ½ Years at Kumon

Milind’s son went to Kumon for 18 months. He has seen a huge difference in the way that kids are learning math at Kumon and the way that they are learning at Math Genie. He told us that Math Genie is very instrumental in the way that a child’s brain thinks, where as Kumon seemed as if it were very repetitive and memorization-based. After just a few months at Math Genie, Milind and his wife decided that they saw much more potential in the Math Genie curriculum.

Teacher Shocked! when First Grader shows math ability

Daniella’s 1st Grade teacher decided to challenge her class with some double digit addition. Daniella was the only student who was able to solve the simple two-digit problem. This intrigued her teacher, and she decided to challenge Daniella a bit more. She gave her several more two-digit addition problems, and Daniella answered them quickly and with ease, without the use of pen or paper. The teacher could not believe it. She decided to give her even more complex problems. Daniella was able to answer them all quickly and easily.

At a recent parent-teacher conference with mother Michelle, Daniella’s teacher expressed surprise at Daniella’s mathematical ability. She told her mother Michelle that she as so shocked at Daniella’s speed and confidence that she blurted out “Oh $@*&!” in front of the entire class”
